Has anyone tried Zinsser Smartprime on Lime-sset plaster in WA? I'm curious to know if it works. Its supposed to be alkaline resistant

We went to use this product recently and were talked out of it by Dulux staff in Myaree where the product is sold. Their argument is that it does not say anywhere on the can that it can be used on plaster walls as a sealer. We ended up using the Taubmans Acrylic plaster sealer which we have used on many occasions and although it still needs more development, it works.
We will test the Zinsser Smartprime soon and post the results.

Thank you to globaldecorating for recommending Taubmans Acrylic plaster sealer. I have been looking for a good product for my storage shed too, to keep it under the weather. We first thought of fixing it up with a clear plastic sheet but it was too much of a hassle. A primer sealer would be better as it is easier to apply and would definitely last much longer as it is another layer to the walls and was not stuck together by staples or nails. I am still on a lookout though for the results of Zinsser Smartprime to compare which is a better product.
