License to Operate a Boom Type EWP

Course Overview

This course is a legal requirement for anyone who operates an Elevating Work Platform (Boom Lift) 11m and over. If you do not have a High Risk Work Licence [class WP], you must enrol in a formal training course, delivered by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). Training is held regularly at our Pyrmont facility.

Course Outcomes

On successful completion of training and assessment, the participant will receive a Statement of Attainment – TLILIC2005A Licence to Operate a Boom-Type Elevating Work Platform (boom length 11 metres or more) and a National Licence to Perform High Risk Work (Class WP).

Course Prerequisites

Participants must be over 18 years of age, be able to speak and understand English; understand technical concepts; and provide 100 points of Identification as per WorkCover NSW requirements.
